Project Location: Deepor Beel, Guwahati (Assam)
# It is an Indo-German initiative under the Living Lakes Biodiversity Conservation Programme in association with the Ramsar -Wetlands Division, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt of India.
Pay: Rs 25,000, depending on qualification and experience.
Contract Period: Initially 1 year (Extendable on the basis of performance). The project period is 5-8 years.
Age Limit: Up to 35 years
Educational Qualification:
# Master’s degree in Agriculture/social work/rural development, or any other relevant discipline. Experienced candidates with a graduate degree in the disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
# At least two years experience of working with a community majorly with farm-based livelihood
# Capable to contribute in building capacities of the farmers in good agricultural practices and introduce climate -biodiversity-friendly agri-designs from production to post-harvest mechanisms.
# Able to analyze the problems faced by farmers and augment their livelihood by working closely with them
